Cambridge union debate: Porn stars to turn up the heat

LONDON: Three porn stars will be the guest speakers in an X-rated debate at the Cambridge University.

The groundbreaking debate that will discuss the question, "This house believes that pornography does a good public service," will be held on February 17 in Cambridge Union Society's historic debating chamber on Bridge Street. First on list is stripper and porn actor Johnny Anglais, who was suspended from his teaching job after his work as an adult entertainer was revealed, reports the Daily Mail.

Anna Arrowsmith, UK's first female adult movie director and once stood as a Liberal Democrat MP candidate, would join him. Feminist Anna said she is confident she can put forward a strong argument at the debate.

US porn actress-turned-chaplain Shelley Lubben would also join the debate. However, she would argue against pornography. She said, "Porn is not glamorous. It destroys lives and is an industry of human trafficking and rampant sexually transmitted diseases that is destroying our nations and families of the world."

Incoming Union President Lauren Davidson told Cambridge student newspaper The Tab she thinks pornography is a 'hot topic' in modern society.
