True Blood Renewed For 5th Season!

If youve been feeling as if there isnt enough of Alexander Skarsgard in your life, then youre in luck!

HBO has just made the announcement that theyve renewed True Blood for their fifth season! Woot!

I cant seem to get enough of this show. If its not the vampires, its the witches. And if its not the witches, then its the wolves and the panthers. If its not any of the supernatural creatures, then perhaps youre just watching it for the hot sex featured. And the vampires, of course.

HBOs president of programming, Michael Lombardo, just confirmed the news, saying, I am thrilled that True Blood continues to enjoy a phenomenal reception from both subscribers and critics. Alan Ball and his gifted team have devised the greatest thrill ride on TV.

Alan added, I remain amazed and delighted by the enthusiasm of our viewers. I cant imagine having more fun than this.

Last week and the week before, viewers were treated to the joining of Sookie and Eric as a couple (in more ways than one!) So Im hopeful for the rest of the season and the next! Are you?

Whats your favorite part of the show? Whos your favorite character? Mine is obviously Mr. Northman, Sheriff of Area Five, of course. Im also digging his amnesia storyline, but I have to wonder what his relationship with Sookie will be like once he gains his memory back. What do you think?
